Redefine yourself and your destiny – An Interview With LeeAnne Hayden

Here at Jia Collection we can’t help but admire success-minded women who create and define their own destiny. We also love when these women decide to wear our clothes, and one fellow female who has done all of this (and is a devoted fan of Jia Collection) is LeeAnne Hayden from Manchester, NH.

Having worked for years in a stable corporate job, LeeAnne decided to bite the bullet take a leap into the unknown. She left the security of her corporate job to become a lifestyle, health, and wealth coach, and she is now a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (AADP) who helps people become the healthiest, happiest, and most fulfilled people they can be. To make a long story short, LeeAnne created a career that revolves around her true passions in life (who doesn’t want that?), and wants to help others achieve the exact same thing. LeeAnne just happens to love our products and kindly agreed to do a little interview for us. We hope you will be as inspired by her as we are…

How did you start your company?

What brought me to lifestyle, health, and wealth coaching? For most of my life I exercised and considered myself a healthy eater, or what I thought was healthy. I am a mother of two wonderful children and three amazing stepsons. I have spent the majority of my life working at least forty hours a week in corporate America; many were sixty-hour workweeks. With the stress of corporate demands and the everyday struggles of raising children, though, I let myself go a little. I know some of you can relate! We are human and perfectly imperfect, but one day I came across a picture of myself at the beach and I honestly didn’t recognize the person I was looking at. This was a depressing discouraging feeling. I thought to myself, “Enough is enough!” I remember a time I was looking at pictures of the athletes in fitness magazines, wondering how they achieved such conditioned bodies. With my “enough” moment burning in my brain, I set fitness competitions as a goal to work towards.

Step 1: I hired a professional to help me. I knew I did not have to discipline, yet, to make all of these changes on my own. I needed to learn how to change.

Step 2: I went to work! Clean eating and exercise, coupled with professional expertise and accountability, and the right self-talk.

I re-defined how I saw myself and how I treated my body and was able to achieve my goal of competing in several international Fitness Competitions. I felt like I could accomplish anything if I put my mind to it! The joy and achievement of these milestones started a revolution in progress. My entire life changed. Though it was not an overnight miracle, I steadily applied myself and embraced my passion for superior nutrition, healthy living, and exercise.

My philosophy as a health coach is that in order to live life full out in the bodies that we are proud of and perform well, we must start by setting goals and then acquire help from a professional who has “been there, done that.” Reinventing the wheel or struggling on your own is a surefire recipe for frustration and slow progress. I teach holistic nutrition and life long physical fitness as two of the most important principles. The third principal, get the best help you can afford. You are worth it! I am proud to say that I was able to acquire the financial freedom to leave the personal and professional stress of my corporate job behind, an achievement I work hard to maintain everyday and an opportunity that fills me with gratitude. I now work with LoveLee Lifestyle clients to help them live a healthier, wealthier, happier lifestyle.

What do you think differentiates your coaching service from other life coaches?

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of my clients’ lives are connected. Does stress at the job or in a relationship cause them to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent them from exercising? As we work together, we look at how all parts of their lives affect their health as a whole through:

1. Bio-individuality™: The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has unique food and lifestyle needs. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you to make positive changes that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, preferences, and ancestral background. I use a personalized, holistic approach to ensure that my clients will have great success!
2. Primary Food™: It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment. It’s not just the food we eat, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual awareness are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary. I help support my clients in achieving all of their goals, from eating the right foods for their body to living an inspired, fulfilling life.

What’s your inspiration behind the brand/company?

My inspiration behind my brand is the want/desire to live a life as large as I can and help others to do the same. Most people live their lives in fear and never know the capacity to which they can express and live. I chose to live and help others break through those fears and live in a world of love, self-love and love towards others.

What are the most important lessons that you have learned from life and running your own business that you would like to share with people?

The most important lesson is the journey of breaking through barriers (again fears) that held me back to be the person I always wanted to be. Like the saying says its the first step that is the hardest! So take that step.

What advice would you like to give to our readers who want to improve their lifestyle?

Start slowly; you don’t need to change everything all at once. Add in the good things in your life and what that will do is crowd out not so good.

What is your definition of success and meaningful life and what do you think are the most important elements that contribute to them?

To me success isn’t about a new car or a larger home, it is about how can you positively affect the masses around you.

What advice do you have for modern busy women who want to look good for all different occasions?

Find pieces that you can add to your clothing collection. More is not always better, but have unique pieces that bring out your style.

What do you look for in clothing when you are packing for a business trip?

Something that I feel confident in and that is not so easily wrinkled ;)

You purchased a few of our designs, what are some things that you like about these pieces?

I love the versatility of them! I purchased 3 reversible dresses that I LOVE!! I can go from business meeting to date night without having to go home and change! They are so comfortable too!

We are thrilled that LeeAnne loves our designs and that they are beneficial for her travel/business needs. LeeAnne has made significant life changing efforts to better her lifestyle and this has made her help others achieve their goals. Healthy living, being happy, and loving yourself is essential to having a fulfilled life. She is an inspiration to us and to modern women all over the world.

You can see all the great work she does at her company’s website Love Lee Lifestyle.

Yours truly,
