Celebrate Innovation with Ivy, Dreamers and Doers
Last year, we were selected as a finalist for the Ivy Innovator Award for Design, and this year, we were invited to celebrate the second annual award ceremony. The candidates for the Ivy Innovator Award span many different focuses within Design – including architecture, technology, microbiology, and fashion.
Last year, Jia Collection was the only finalist focused on Fashion. We were honored to be among such a diverse group applying innovative design in unique ways to create better, beautiful, more functional solutions for every day life. It is inspiring to be apart of a community determined to transform the world through their relentless ingenuity.
"Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself." - Edmund Lee
As we reflect on what propels us to keep pushing the boundaries of design, we are not just motivated by the likeminded innovators in Ivy. Our customer is our biggest motivation to continuously innovate despite all of the daily challenges. We are driven by your words of encouragement and satisfaction to do and create more. So we would like to take a moment to thank you. We were honored to be apart of the Ivy Innovator Award for Design, which was a result of all that you’ve inspired us to do. We are looking forward to launching new collections that will continue to change your expectations for and how you value clothing.
Just as we are working on this article this afternoon, we got to speak with Jodie Fox, the founder of Shoes of Prey, our favorite fashion brand with the most exciting innovation in mass customization for shoes. If you haven't checked out what they offer, now you should. Shoes of Prey makes every woman's dream come true; it offers millions of shoe designs and you can get your shoes made exactly the way you want. We hope to continue to see more and more innovators like Jodie in fashion, which is a industry that had lagged behind in innovation but now is catching up.
